The Edinburgh Academical Football Club (or Edinburgh Accies) are a club steeped in history and renowned for our welcoming, social and family-friendly culture.
Our rich history is a fundamental part of what makes this Club so unique, but it is our future that excites us as we aim to build on our reputation as a fun, friendly and family-oriented rugby club for all.
We have 3 senior teams including an ambitious 1st XV, a competitive 2nd XV, the more social 3rd XV (or The Entertainers). We have a thriving Minis section (P1 to P7) and we work closely with BATs Rugby (S1-S6) having established the community club along with Broughton RFC and Trinity Accies RFC in 2004.
Our rugby group nurtures an environment where all players can have fun and be the best they want to be regardless of age or ability.
In 2021 we moved into our new home which will allow us to continue to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment, both on and off the pitch, where people of all ages and abilities have the opportunity to come together, develop and enjoy themselves.
